1. T-Shirt Designer
We are in need of a new design for our t-shirts, in particularly for usage during the Hove Festival this summer. Have a hidden designer in you? Get in touch!

2. Website Content Manager
We are quite fond of our website and like to share as much with all of you as possible. Sometimes, however, we get too caught up in the actual execution of the projects. Thus our updating is not as frequent as we would want to. This you could help us with – by drafting short articles for our site based on project information we would let you in on. Time to brush some dust off that pen (or keyboard more like it)?

3. Research Guru
The internet access in our area can be quite slow at times, as well as the limitations in available time to really browse each corner of the WWW. We would thus be highly appreciative of some research gurus. What does this mean? As simple as this: we would send you some topics or questions we would need more information on or answers to, and you would do your search magic by finding resources and reliable feedback. It might not seem like a big deal, but it does help a lot!

LOCATION: MANILA, the PHILIPPINES

A. IT-Specialists
As we have just received several donation computers/laptops, we would be in need of some handy IT guys or gals to assist with the installation of new operating systems and our standard software packages. Not too time consuming on its own, but with a lot of computers combined it does become handy with some assistance.

We would also love to have some IT volunteers at hand for potential staff training and beneficiary training, emergency assistance when technical issues arise and so on. Give us a shout out if you think you could be signed up for this!

B. Teacher’s Aide in English
We have English tutorials every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1 pm until 3 pm. There is already an English teacher handling this project, but she would love to have some assisting teachers. You do not have to be a licences teacher but able to master the English language well, as you would be assisting the participants in understanding the lectures and help with basic pronunciation and spelling/grammar.

C. Administrative and Project Support
It may not seem like the most fun-filled type of volunteering, but it is among the most helpful ways to be of assistance. By volunteering at our office and helping out with data punching, scanning, school meal preparations and the likes, you are a valuable asset in ensuring even greater efficiency. You may even be assigned tasks outside the office, such as helping out with purchasing at the local market and gathering research data. It is also your key to getting more directly involved in projects, as we require volunteers who will interact with our beneficiaries to be familiar with and to the organization in advance.

D. Extra Curriculum Activities Facilitator
Do you have a particular skill in dancing, drama, singing, sports, musical instruments, photography, writing or art? Or in any other field that you feel it could be beneficial and interesting for our beneficiaries? Let us know!

We are constantly looking for facilitators for one-day trainings, training courses and regular practices. So whether you would only be available for one day, a short period or on a weekly basis there are  open possibilities.

E. On-Call Emergency Response Volunteer
Unfortunately the Philippines is regularly struck by natural disasters. More so, slum areas are also affected by man made disasters (such as fire). As we provide emergency assistance in the areas where we conduct our primary projects, we are always in need of volunteers for helping out in the preparations and actual execution of emergency responses. That could be in purchasing, donation sourcing, repackaging and/or distribution. If you want to be on our response list, get in touch.
